Position

Are you ready to lead the development of impactful applications and mentor the next generation of tech talent? At MAXX Potential, we’re seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to lead the creation of a new Driver Application for deployment on Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), such as Samsung TabActive tablets. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, as you’ll guide two junior .NET Apprentice Developers, sharing your experience and fostering their growth while delivering solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Driver Application for Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Leverage your .NET expertise to deliver solutions that meet business needs and comply with transportation industry standards.
  • Implement and integrate features optimized for mobile and ruggedized environments, particularly for Samsung TabActive devices.
  • Pair with two junior .NET Apprentice Developers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and code reviews to support their development and ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions. Work closely with a project manager, technical lead, and QA team.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Ensure the application meets high security and usability standards, especially for deployment in a real-world transportation environment.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in .NET development, mobile platforms, and ELD solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in .NET development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in .NET frameworks, including .NET Core and ASP.NET.
    • Expertise in mobile application development, particularly for Android-based devices.
    • Familiarity with integrating hardware and software for Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) or similar technologies.
    • Experience with APIs, microservices, and RESTful architectures.
    • Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Blazor, Xamarin, or similar technologies).
    • Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools such as Snyk.
    • Proficient in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, IBM DB2) and data optimization techniques. Experience with IBM DB2 and Oracle Stored Procedures is a plus.
    • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
